Dr. Sam Akhrass, a Canadian native, relocated to the Knoxville area in 1995.
Dr. Sam Akhrass, originally from Montreal, Canada, relocated to Tennessee in 1995. Residing in Lenoir City, he and his wife of 15 years, Jessica, have been enjoying the blessings of new parenthood to their 17-month old daughter, Riley-Addison.
Dr. Akhrass graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with an undergraduate degree in biology, as well as a minor in history. He subsequently attended, and graduated with honors, from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. Dr. Akhrass truly enjoys dentistry and since graduating from UT Memphis, and throughout his 15 years in practice, Dr. Akhrass has continued to learn and expand his knowledge by completing thousands of hours of extensive continuing education courses. In 2016, the Tennessee Dental Association awarded Dr. Akhrass with the ACE award for the largest number of continuing education hours completed in a calendar year. He brings the newest technology to his dental practice and to his patients.
He enjoys performing a variety of surgical procedures from soft tissue grafting, placing single or multiple implants, designing virtually invisible clear aligners to straighten your teeth, to performing comprehensive full-mouth reconstruction.
